Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare vaccination plan and ensure De-worming and vaccination for all livestock
2. Assist beneficiaries on best practices regarding the broiler, breeder, hatcheries and layer farming to improve the quality and quantity of their production.
3. Advise livestock owners on disease control and animal husbandry methods
4. Conducting beneficiary's surveys.
5. Prepare seasonal calendar for Livestock (Disease and Vaccination);
6. Market visit to be updated himself about feeds, recent medicine and treatment mechanism
7. Provide training to UDDIPAN’s group member on cattle management and animal husbandry
8. Ensure that group members are trained on proper cattle management and animal husbandry practices
9. Advice entrepreneur owners on better use of animal feed, housing, water, and other important aspects of broiler, breeder, hatcheries and layer farming and poultry rearing;
10. Coordinate with other programs/ projects operating in the poultry/Cattle sector in UDDIPAN.
11. Solve local technical poultry issues where possible and report on-going problems including outbreaks of disease and poultry mortality.
12. Provide technical assistance in developing an appropriate marketing strategy for the livestock
